Attorney For Hire - No Surprises

Recently, Attorney Padgett traveled to do a criminal case in an out of county court. Most law firms would charge hourly for this because it includes hours of travel for an attorney at an attorney’s fee rate.

Also, the amount of time it takes to complete the court hearing can run longer in smaller courts. At other law firms, that usually means a high “SURPRISE” bill at the end because the hours really add up.

At Ben Padgett Law, we decided to take this case on a flat fee: meaning one price no matter how many hours it might take. This made our client very happy because they could depend on their attorney and know there was no nasty SURPRISE coming at the end of their case.
The end result: a great hearing! Felony charges were knocked down to smaller misdemeanor charges. The high court fines that threatened our client were challenged and we won by getting the fines waived. The client was left with a much better situation than what they started with and no court fines. The client felt like they could move forward with their life now.

This person is now another happy Ben Padgett Law client!
